The frequency of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism highlights the need for physical thrombosis prophylaxis. Comprinet pro meets all scientific requirements for an anatomically shaped thrombosis prophylaxis stocking. The compression pressure is approx. 18 mmHg in the ankle area and decreases linearly from distal to proximal. Comprinet pro can be washed up to 10 times without affecting the pressure profile, provided the special washing instructions are followed. It is available in two lengths and three widths (thigh circumferences up to 86 cm) as well as two special sizes (thigh circumferences up to 90 cm) and additionally in knee length. Comprinet pro is seamlessly circular knitted. The stocking has a sewn-in label with the size printed on it in wash-resistant ink, as well as an individual barcode and a sample field for documenting the washing. The colour coding on the toe window on the top of the foot makes it easy to identify the size. Comprinet pro thigh-length stockings are made of 77% polyamide, 19% elastane and 4% neoprene and can be reprocessed up to 10 times. Comprinet pro knee-length stockings are made of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane and can also be reprocessed up to 10 times. Latex-free formula Not manufactured with natural rubber latex.
