Hearing at a whole new level The FDA-cleared 3M™ Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope allows you to switch between analogue and amplified hearing modes. This allows you to choose your preferred mode during the examination. Dual Frequency Technology, a 3M invention, allows you to control the diaphragm to hear different frequency ranges by applying variable pressure to the chestpiece. For low-frequency sounds, press the chestpiece lightly on the patient; for high-frequency sounds, increase the pressure on the chestpiece. The soft ear tips fit snugly into the ear canals for optimal comfort and excellent sound isolation. The 3M™ Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope allows you to back up and annotate 15-, 30-, 60- or 120-second recordings in a secure environment using HIPAA-compliant means via Eko software for iOS and Android. Create your own audio library of heart sounds to document disease progression, whether for training purposes or patient handover to colleagues. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope is a combination of an Eko CORE attachment and a 3M Littmann Cardiology IV Stethoscope. The 40x gain is based on a comparison between analogue and electronically amplified hearing at maximum volume and peak frequency (125 Hz).
