MedCaptain NAVI-60 Vein-Navi infrared vein finder

The portable vein finder NAVI-60 works contactlessly and gently using NIR technology (near infrared light). The device supports medical personnel in locating veins in addition to visual and tactile assessment.

The MedCaptain vein finder visualizes the course of superficial veins in real time using NIR infrared light. The projection on the skin surface precisely maps the vein network and also provides information on the depth of the veins. The vein projection can be displayed in color or inverse at the touch of a button. The VeinNavi NAVI-60 can be used in many medical specialties to assist with venipuncture. Whether in infusion therapy, pediatrics, vascular surgery or oncology, the VeinNavi-60 makes it easier to find the right place for puncture, injection or blood sampling.

The high-resolution display makes occluded or bleeding veins as well as constrictions and curves more visible. Optical distortions are attenuated by the technology of the NAVI-60 in order to display the distribution of the veins more accurately. In depth mode, the position of the vein is displayed using green bars on the skin surface. A single light bar corresponds to a depth of approx. 0 to 2 mm, two bars to a depth of 2 to 4 mm.

The VeinNavi-60 can be used in studies and training to visualize the course of the vein, as well as in difficult medical situations, especially with small veins that are difficult to palpate, for example under the "baby fat" of an infant, or with restricted vein access due to medication and infusions, the VeinNavi-60 provides fast and reliable results and gives patients and doctors peace of mind.
